Training Specialist – Learning & Development

About the role

We are expanding our training consultancy and need a motivated Training Specialist to design and deliver learning solutions for clients across Defence, Rail, Nuclear, Health and Government sectors. You will work alongside senior training consultants, applying innovative design techniques to create engaging, technology‑enabled programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary project teams to understand client needs and conduct needs analysis.
• Design and develop learning material, including e‑learning, virtual reality, augmented reality, simulation and emulation.
• Deliver training sessions on‑site or at our offices and provide assurance throughout the training lifecycle.
• Support senior specialists in instructional design, delivery and quality assurance.
• Travel to client sites as required.

Required profile

• PGCE qualification or equivalent teaching experience.
• Degree‑level education in a training‑design related subject or substantial relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel to client locations and work across multiple offices.
• Commitment to progress towards chartered status with CMI, CIPD or the Learning & Performance Institute.
