Treatment Room Nurse – Community Treatment and Care

About the role

The Treatment Room Nurse will work within the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) service at a GP surgery in Kincardine, delivering a range of clinical procedures to patients in the West Fife area. This is a Band 5 position focused on safe, person‑centred care in a primary‑care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide wound management, venepuncture, compression bandaging, doppler assessments and injections.
• Deliver evolving nursing tasks while maintaining clinical care and quality standards.
• Work collaboratively with a multi‑professional team in the GP surgery.
• Cover additional treatment rooms or hubs across the Fife‑wide CTAC service as required.

Required profile

• Registered Adult/General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Experience in treatment‑room or community‑based nursing.
• Ability to work in a primary‑care environment and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and adaptability.
• Willingness to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
