US Property Account Handler

About the role

This position is with a well‑established independent Lloyd’s broker in London, supporting the growth of its US Open Market Property portfolio. You will work closely with brokers, insurers and US retail partners to deliver high‑quality service to North American property clients.

Key responsibilities

• Support producing brokers with placement and servicing of North American property business.
• Prepare market documentation such as MRC slips, endorsements, certificates and evidence of cover.
• Process new business, renewals, mid‑term adjustments and maintain accurate policy documentation.
• Liaise with insurers, clients and US retail brokers to ensure smooth transactions.
• Maintain client records and internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
• Assist in preparing market presentations and renewal information.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and market partners.
• Collaborate with Operations, Claims and Finance teams to provide seamless client service.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations, Lloyd’s requirements and internal procedures.

Required profile

• 10+ years of London Market experience in a technical account handler or broker support role for a Lloyd’s broker.
• Extensive experience creating Open Market slips for US property risks.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
