Valuation Surveyor – Commercial Surveying

About the role

Join a specialist commercial surveying firm that has been delivering property advice to the UK health sector for over 25 years. As a Valuation Surveyor you will manage a portfolio of property inspections, rent reviews and market valuations, working independently and liaising directly with clients and third‑party valuers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site property inspections, measuring buildings and gathering data.
• Prepare and deliver rent reviews and market valuation reports for primary‑care clients.
• Advise clients on lease terms and negotiate on their behalf with landlords or tenants.
• Travel across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, to fulfil inspection requirements.
• Participate in mandatory in‑person training and regular team meetings.

Required profile

• Chartered RICS status (MRICS) or equivalent senior surveying qualification.
• Proven experience in property valuations, rent reviews and negotiations.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder negotiation.
• Valid clean driving licence and residence within a 90‑minute commute to Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds or Nottingham.

• Salary range £35,000‑£50,000 per year, plus a performance‑based bonus scheme.
