Vehicle Technician – Press, Marketing, Engineering & Motorsport Support (6‑month contract)

About the role

Lotus UK Manufacturing is seeking a Vehicle Technician on a 6‑month contract to support press, marketing, engineering and motorsport activities. Working at our Hethel facility, you will ensure a wide range of vehicles – from production models to prototypes and motorsport assets – are maintained, prepared and operated to the highest standards for media events, testing and customer demonstrations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, inspections, diagnostics and repairs on press, marketing, engineering and motorsport vehicles.
• Carry out high‑voltage diagnostics and repairs on electric vehicles in line with certification requirements.
• Support engineering teams with prototype builds, test‑vehicle preparation and development activities.
• Prepare vehicles for media drives, photo/video shoots, marketing campaigns and motorsport events, including detailing, branding and accessory fitting.
• Manage logistics, scheduling and transportation of vehicles for tests, track days and partner projects.
