Warehouse Operative/Driver

About the role

We are a rapidly growing wine import company seeking a Warehouse Operative with delivery responsibilities to join our permanent, full‑time team. Working closely with the Logistics Team and Managing Director, you will help ensure our wines reach restaurants, corporate clients and retail stores across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch orders, pick and pack stock accurately and on time.
• Manage stock through sorting, scanning, vintage rotation and packing.
• Consolidate, wrap and prepare stock for shipment.
• Follow safe working procedures, including manual handling guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
• Open and close the warehouse each day.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
• Load and unload vehicles and deliver goods to nearby customers.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence (essential).
• Must be over 25 years of age (insurance requirement).
• Experience in a similar warehouse or delivery role.
• Ability to work to targets and adapt to changing schedules.
• Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
• Team‑oriented yet capable of working independently.
• Wine knowledge and forklift licence are desirable but not mandatory.
