Warehouse Operator

About the role

Join a dynamic team supporting the Customer Channels Group within a Managed Services division. As a Warehouse Operator you will ensure smooth stockroom management, order handling and laboratory support for our customers in Glasgow.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on‑site replenishments and disbursements – receiving, put‑away, stock rotation, cycle counts and detailed replenishment.
• Handle customer service tasks such as order entry, expediting, call resolution, returns authorisation, back‑order processing and vendor/customer interaction.
• Deliver direct shipment orders to end users and carry out deliveries as required.
• Follow Best Practices, SOPs and work instructions, taking direction from supervisors and team leads.
• Represent the company professionally at all customer locations and undertake any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stock control and warehousing.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to work to defined performance goals and flexibility to work overtime.
• Strong customer‑focused attitude with excellent communication skills.
• Physical capability to walk extensively, use material handling equipment and lift up to 20 kg.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using material handling equipment such as push carts and pallet jacks.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term 12‑month contract (possible extension) at £14.20 per hour.
• 37.5 hours per week, Monday‑Friday shifts (08:00‑16:00 or 09:00‑17:00).
