Welder – MIG & TIG Coded Welding (Temporary, Eastleigh)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Welder with proven experience in both MIG and TIG coded welding to join our team in Eastleigh. The role involves welding and fabricating car bodies and sub‑assemblies on a temporary, ongoing basis.

Key responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG coded welding tasks in line with WPS and SOPs.
• Carry out pre‑ and post‑weld inspections and maintain accurate weld records.
• Prepare weld surfaces, manage consumables and equipment, and ensure quality standards.
• Support colleagues by delivering training and deputising for the Team Leader when required.
• Participate in Kaizen, 5S and other continuous‑improvement activities.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental procedures, including proper extraction and housekeeping.

Required profile

• Valid MIG or TIG coded welding qualification.
• Ability to work unsupervised and make informed decisions.
• High accuracy, excellent dexterity and good eyesight.
• Willingness to work flexible shift patterns.
• Strong interpersonal skills for training and team support.
