About the role
We are seeking a Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our Department of Medicine for the Elderly. This permanent position offers 34.5 hours per week and provides the opportunity to deliver compassionate care to older adults within a supportive NHS environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality nursing care to elderly patients in the Department of Medicine for the Elderly.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs and support patients with daily living activities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with NHS policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Compassionate and hardworking attitude with a desire to work with older adults.
- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Ability to work 34.5 hours per week on a permanent basis.
- Willingness to undergo training in elderly care if not already experienced.
Required skills
- NMC registration (mandatory).
