Business Development Manager – Technical Sales

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established European electronics manufacturer to find a technically minded Business Development Manager. The role focuses on growing an existing territory across the South Midlands, engaging with OEMs, engineering customers and manufacturing partners from design through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing OEM and engineering accounts.
• Identify new business opportunities across manufacturing and industrial customers.
• Sell consultatively into technical environments, supporting design‑in and specification‑led projects.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement and manufacturing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Build long‑term customer partnerships across the territory.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical B2B or engineering sales.
• Background in electronic components, electromechanical or automation products.
• Comfortable speaking with engineers and understanding technical applications.
• Track record of business development and account growth.
• Self‑motivated and able to manage a field‑based territory.
