Chartered Building Surveyor – London (Hybrid)

About the role

FindCore are assisting a leading multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy to recruit a Chartered Building Surveyor. This permanent position is based in London with hybrid working and offers clear growth and progression paths.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of professional and project‑based building surveying services.
• Undertake PPM surveys, condition surveys, technical due diligence and building pathology investigations.
• Prepare specifications, schedules of work, technical reports and reinstatement cost assessments.
• Manage maintenance, repair, refurbishment and insurance reinstatement projects.
• Act as Contract Administrator under JCT and SBCC forms of contract.
• Prepare schedules of condition and dilapidations.
• Provide clear technical advice and maintain strong client relationships.
• Work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with CDM regulations, health and safety requirements and industry standards.

Required profile

• Broad experience delivering professional building surveying services.
• Strong knowledge of construction technology, building pathology and PPM programmes.
• Experience managing refurbishment projects and administering JCT or SBCC contracts.
• Strong technical reporting, organisation and client‑management skills.
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations and relevant health and safety legislation.
• Competence using Microsoft Office and CAD software.
• Proactive, commercially aware and able to manage multiple instructions.
• Full UK driving licence.
