About the role
Join the kitchen team at Glyndebourne Opera House for the Summer Opera Festival, running from May to August 2026. As a Chef de Partie you will work alongside award‑winning chefs to deliver high‑quality dishes across multiple dining outlets.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high‑quality dishes in line with menu specifications.
- Support menu delivery across several restaurant, bar and outdoor catering outlets.
- Maintain rigorous hygiene and food‑safety standards.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Adapt duties to match your skill set and the festival’s operational needs.
Required profile
- Passionate, hardworking individual with a positive, can‑do attitude.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and collaborate effectively in a team.
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen is essential.
Required skills
- Food preparation and culinary techniques.
- Food safety compliance.
- Hygiene standards implementation.
