Data Engineer – Portfolio Data Integration

About the role

Addepar is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Portfolio Data Integration team within the Platform group. You will help build and maintain the data pipelines that ingest, cleanse, and enrich financial portfolio data from a wide range of sources.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain new and existing data integration pipelines.
• Write production‑grade PySpark code and integrate it into the Databricks Data Lake.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment processes for financial data.
• Collaborate with AI‑augmented engineering tools for code review, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to larger platform projects aimed at increasing data‑ingestion throughput.

Required profile

• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom from day one.
• Proven experience in data engineering, preferably with financial or investment data.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently on complex pipelines.
