Homeownership Specialist – Property Manager (3‑month temp)

About the role

The Homeownership Specialist will manage a diverse portfolio of residential sites, ensuring safety, compliance and high standards of service for leaseholders. This three‑month temporary position combines on‑site inspections with office collaboration and offers a mix of autonomous work and team interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Visit each site at least twice a week to conduct inspections, identify repairs and verify health & safety compliance.
• Attend the Manchester office weekly to coordinate with finance, compliance, customer service and major works teams.
• Manage leasehold services including LPE1 packs, permissions, lease interpretations, staircasing, extensions, resales and other transactions.
• Communicate clearly with leaseholders, attend meetings and deliver a trusted service experience.
• Carry out regular scheme inspections, flag hazards and oversee repair actions.
• Work with finance to set and monitor service‑charge budgets, track spend and maintain sinking funds.
• Support planning and consultation for major works and Section 20 requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leasehold or property management with solid knowledge of leasehold and service‑charge legislation.
• Strong budgeting and financial monitoring abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with good numeracy and comfort handling financial data.
• Self‑managed, able to prioritise tasks and work independently.
