About the role
We are looking for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Claygate. You will support children in Nursery and Reception, delivering play‑based learning aligned with the EYFS framework.
Key responsibilities
- Support children across Nursery and Reception classes.
- Deliver engaging, play‑based activities that follow the EYFS curriculum.
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group assistance where needed.
- Support early phonics, language, and social development.
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Required profile
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (essential).
- Previous experience working in an EYFS setting.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum.
- Positive, patient, and nurturing approach.
- Reliable, proactive, and a strong team player.
