Mobile Electrician – London & South East

About the role

We are looking for two qualified Mobile Electricians to join a leading facilities‑management team servicing commercial properties across London and the South East. The role offers a varied workload, strong overtime potential and the chance to progress to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair faults on lighting, power distribution and control systems.
• Perform electrical inspections, testing and certification in line with BS 7671.
• Work safely using permits to work, POWRAs and company compliance processes.
• Provide excellent customer service to site stakeholders.
• Travel between multiple commercial sites within the assigned region.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• AM2 qualification – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant experience in commercial building maintenance, facilities management or fire‑alarm systems is desirable.

Required skills

• Electrical installation and fault finding.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Inspection & testing of electrical systems.
• Knowledge of lighting, power distribution and control systems.
• F‑Gas or air‑conditioning handling.
• Fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
