Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex client projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a fast‑moving FinTech environment. The role is client‑facing, requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management and the ability to translate business requirements into high‑quality digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with consulting and client teams to gather, document, and manage business requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring objectives are understood and delivered.
• Document requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria; manage project backlogs.
• Lead sprint planning sessions and coordinate delivery activities with development teams.
• Develop and maintain strong product and domain knowledge to support execution.
• Define, coordinate, and oversee testing and quality‑assurance activities.
• Facilitate client workshops, sprint reviews, User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and go‑live activities.
• Provide ongoing support to build long‑term client relationships.
• Work closely with delivery and development teams to ensure process adherence.
• Manage multiple projects and workstreams, monitoring risks, issues, timelines and budgets.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of project management experience.
• At least 3 years delivering software development or SDLC‑based projects.
• Proven experience delivering external web‑based portal or digital application projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior‑level stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong organisational detail‑orientation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to align outcomes to business objectives.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.
