Senior Risk Analyst – Private Credit Investment Risk

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to provide transparency on investment‑related risks across its Private Credit portfolios, including CLOs, syndicated loans, direct lending, and distressed situations. You will work closely with senior risk leaders to shape risk strategy and deliver insights that support client outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Global Head of Alternatives Risk and the Risk Director to define investment risk strategy aligned with Invesco’s philosophy.
• Deliver commercially aware, value‑added insights to the investment team and support positive client performance.
• Lead strategic projects on technology, data, and human capital to equip the Private Credit risk function with necessary tools.
• Build and maintain data analytics libraries for deep‑dive analysis of Private Credit portfolios.
• Identify key risk exposures, define risk guidelines, and develop quantitative analytics for risk estimation and management.
• Maintain active dialogue with Private Credit investment teams, facilitating discussions on risk profiles and firm‑wide risk appetite.
• Prepare presentation materials for board updates on risk performance across all Private Credit funds.
• Continuously refine risk capabilities to understand drivers of portfolio performance and alpha generation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in market, counterparty, and liquidity risk management within private credit or related investment areas.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to develop quantitative risk models.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with investment teams and senior leadership.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional projects and drive strategic initiatives.
