Senior Technician - French Speaker

About the role

Convatec is seeking a multiskilled IT Support Technician fluent in French and English to join its Home Service Group. The role provides first‑ and second‑level support to public‑facing customer service teams and fast‑moving distribution centres across the UK and France, both onsite and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the French liaison between technical teams in the UK, US and France.
• Collaborate with all IT teams, communicating technical details to both technical and business audiences.
• Support and maintain IT infrastructure at all HSG sites in the UK and France, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Manage end‑user support through the Amcare/HSG service desk, delivering prompt and friendly assistance.
• Provide business application support, acting as a technical link to suppliers and internal teams.
• Lead incident management, coordinating with suppliers to resolve issues quickly.
• Document technical processes and communicate effectively at all business levels.
• Assist in technical project development, implementation and testing.
• Support governance, control and management activities alongside Technical Leadership.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience delivering 1st and 2nd level IT support in a multi‑site environment.
• Strong ability to communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
• Experience with regulatory compliance requirements in the UK and France.
• Self‑starter who can own issues to resolution or hand them over effectively.
