Supply Chain Business Controller – Finance & Logistics

About the role

This full‑time position joins the business management team supporting the industrial supply chain for a global aerospace operation. Based in Chester, you will work 35 hours per week, providing financial oversight for logistics, transport and supply functions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and long‑range financial planning for the supply chain function.
• Support operational financial planning and report financial risks and opportunities.
• Create, maintain and improve management dashboards and performance reporting tools.
• Develop business cases, investment appraisals and financial models to aid decision‑making.
• Collaborate with operational leaders and non‑finance stakeholders to translate data into commercial insights.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading or supporting annual budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning.
• Strong background in financial performance analysis and risk identification.
• Demonstrated ability to build business cases and financial models.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, operational or project‑based environments.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting to senior management.
