About the role
Hays Education is partnering with a leading Multi‑Academy Trust in the North West to provide daily, short‑term and long‑term supply teaching opportunities across secondary schools in Rochdale, Bury and Bolton. The role is open to qualified teachers and early‑career teachers who want classroom experience during the new academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4 across a range of subjects.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
- Follow each school’s policies, procedures and safeguarding guidelines.
- Adapt quickly to different school environments and support pupils to achieve their potential.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (or willingness to start).
- Strong classroom management skills and a passion for education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Effective lesson planning and delivery.
- Classroom behaviour management techniques.
- Ability to follow school policies and safeguarding procedures.
