Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Hounslow)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Teaching Assistant to join a friendly, inclusive primary school in Hounslow starting September 2026. You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range, helping them achieve academic and social success.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons.
• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support for pupils, including those with special educational needs.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and academic development.
• Help maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment.
• Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources.

Required profile

• Positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for helping pupils reach their full potential.
• Experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable but not essential.
• SEN experience or a recent graduate aiming for a teaching career is encouraged to apply.
