About the role
Progress Rail is seeking a full‑time Technical Support Engineer to join its Abu Dhabi team. You will provide expert technical assistance for locomotive and rail equipment, ensuring customers receive prompt and effective solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems on locomotives and related systems.
- Deliver timely solutions and recommendations to customers.
- Analyze system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain clear and professional communication throughout the support process.
- Document issues, actions taken, and outcomes for continuous knowledge sharing.
Required profile
- Proven experience in technical support and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer‑focused mindset with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant engineering degree or comparable technical education preferred.
Required skills
- Experience with SD70 locomotives.
