Year 5 Teacher – Full‑Time (Sept Start) in Manchester

About the role
We are partnering with a supportive primary school in Manchester to find an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher. The role starts in September and offers the chance to inspire pupils as they progress towards Year 6.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons.
- Use assessment data to track progress and plan next steps.
- Differentiate instruction for pupils with varying abilities, including SEND and EAL learners.
- Promote independence, resilience and positive learning behaviours.
- Build constructive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
- Contribute to school life and support extracurricular activities where appropriate.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs are welcome to apply.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (or recent graduate).
- Strong curriculum knowledge and effective classroom management.
- Ability to motivate, challenge and support learners.
- Commitment to raising attainment while safeguarding pupil wellbeing.
