About the role
Join the developing Community Admission Avoidance Therapy Team (CAATT) at Royal Gwent Hospital as a Band 4 Therapy Assistant Practitioner. You will work on‑site Monday‑Friday, providing essential support to patients who present to the emergency department.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, effective support to patients as part of the CAATT service.
- Contribute to the delivery of community admission avoidance therapy interventions.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Adhere to the health board’s smoke‑free policy and all relevant clinical procedures.
Required profile
- Qualified Assistant Therapy Practitioner at Band 4 level.
- Available to work Monday‑Friday on‑site at Royal Gwent Hospital.
- Willing to discuss any reasonable adjustments or support needs during the recruitment process.
- Commitment to the inclusive values of the health board, supporting candidates with protected characteristics.
