Area Sales Manager – Garage & Bodyshop Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Area Sales Manager to represent a market‑leading manufacturer of premium garage and bodyshop equipment across South East England. The role is field‑based, covering key locations such as Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Norwich and Leicester, and focuses on building strong customer relationships while driving sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and achieve sales targets for garage, bodyshop and technical capital equipment.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts through regular visits and product demonstrations.
• Conduct on‑site equipment demonstrations, installations and start‑up training.
• Coordinate with internal teams on orders, deliveries and post‑sales support.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales activity reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience selling technical or capital equipment to the automotive sector.
• Strong understanding of garage, bodyshop, workshop tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Mechanically minded with the ability to present technical solutions.
