Artwork Manager - EMEA NPD Team

About the role

The Advocate Group is recruiting, on behalf of Monster Energy, an Artwork Manager for its EMEA NPD team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role takes ownership of complex packaging artwork projects from brief through to print, ensuring they are technically correct, on brand and delivered on time. It is a hands-on position with several competing priorities across a busy EMEA portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Manage packaging artwork projects from initial brief through to proofing, approval and release for print.
• Review and approve artwork proofs, print specifications, colour drawdowns and die-lines/cutter guides.
• Work closely with Creative, Project Managers, suppliers, printers and bottlers to keep projects moving.
• Manage multiple artwork workstreams and competing priorities.
• Troubleshoot artwork, proofing, print and supplier issues to minimise risk and keep launches on track.
• Support packaging projects around compliance, sustainability and continuous improvement.
• Help improve processes, systems and ways of working across the artwork function.
• Support and develop junior team members where required.

Required profile

• Experience in packaging artwork, print management and FMCG project delivery.
• Experience managing artwork projects independently from brief through to final print.
• Comfortable working with printers, packaging suppliers, agencies and cross-functional internal teams.
• Highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects, deadlines and priorities.
• Natural problem solver who can make decisions, manage risk and keep projects moving.
• Experience in FMCG, packaging or another fast-paced consumer environment is highly beneficial.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of packaging artwork, print production, proofing and colour management.
• Knowledge of die-lines and cutter guides.
