Associate Director – Surveying

About the role

The Associate Director – Surveying will manage a portfolio of commercial properties for MAPP’s clients, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and compliance. Reporting to the Director, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations, occupier relations and service charge management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned properties, handling service delivery, occupier liaison, service charge administration and compliance reporting.
• Read and interpret leases, ensuring occupier obligations are met and coordinating licences, alterations and change‑of‑use applications.
• Lead a team of property managers, embedding MAPP’s values and driving occupier satisfaction through customer experience initiatives.
• Support new business pitches, tender preparation and strategic documentation.
• Oversee statutory compliance, audits and specialist advice, aligning with RICS and ISO standards.
• Prepare and analyse service charge budgets, monitor expenditures and provide due‑diligence for client acquisitions.

Required profile

• Proven experience line‑managing property managers and communicating confidently with clients and occupiers.
• Strong track record of delivering high‑standards service and leading team projects.
• MRICS qualification is desirable.
• Ability to contribute to new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
