Associate Project Engineer – Product Development

About the role
The Associate Project Engineer will join a fast‑growing international organisation’s Product Development team in Aldermaston. Working hybrid (two days in the office), you will coordinate new product projects from concept through launch, liaising with OEM manufacturers, packaging suppliers and international teams.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate new product development projects from concept to mass production.
- Liaise with OEM manufacturers, packaging suppliers, artwork providers and overseas factories.
- Prepare artwork briefs and ensure packaging and labelling comply with UK and EU regulations.
- Manage RFQs, supplier quotations, cost analysis and supplier negotiations.
- Support supplier qualification, maintain relationships and track project timelines.
- Create and maintain product specifications, codes and technical documentation (INCI lists, COAs, MSDSs, compliance certificates).
- Assist with Cosmetic Product Safety Assessment requirements and product registrations.
Required profile
- Degree in Packaging, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Product Development, Supply Chain, Business or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in product or packaging development, NPD, or project coordination.
- Experience working with OEM manufacturers, packaging suppliers and international supply chains.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
