Automatic Door Engineer – Up to £22 per hour

About the role

We are seeking an Automatic Door Engineer to join a growing team in North West England. The role is full‑time, permanent and involves travelling to a variety of customer sites to install, service and maintain automated door systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain automated doors across multiple sites.
• Work with a range of manufacturers and ensure high‑quality workmanship.
• Communicate effectively with customers and complete tasks efficiently.
• Provide support to fellow team members when required.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Ideally 3 + years experience in the automatic door industry (not mandatory).
• Willingness to train in any discipline and a positive, self‑motivated attitude.
• Knowledge of a range of door manufacturers.
• Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, ADSA/ADIA, BS EN16005, City & Guilds.
