BIM Technician – MEP (Building Services)

About the role

We are looking for an intermediate MEP BIM Technician to join Arup’s Building Engineering London group, working on prestigious UK and international building projects. The role involves producing BIM deliverables for mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services and providing technical support to engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce MEP BIM models, drawings and schedules for a diverse range of projects.
• Check drawings and models for accuracy and quality to maintain required standards.
• Support BIM implementation and share knowledge across the team.
• Guide, train and give feedback to junior team members.
• Manage work to ensure deadlines are met on time and within budget.
• Contribute to development of good practice and processes through Arup’s skills networks.

Required profile

• Minimum HNC in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Ideally an Eng Tech qualification or willingness to work towards it with Arup’s support.
• Proven experience delivering building projects and understanding building services design principles.
• Demonstrated experience working in a BIM environment.
