Customer Service Coordinator – Harwich

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join a well‑established organisation in Harwich. You will act as the main point of contact for internal and external customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and deliveries meet agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer orders using the company’s order management system.
• Manage domestic, European and export orders, keeping customers informed of progress.
• Coordinate with sales, production and logistics partners to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Arrange haulier bookings, raise required paperwork and maintain compliance documentation, including HMRC approvals.
• Handle complaints and service issues, providing full resolution and feedback.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and databases.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service and/or logistics.
• Strong understanding of Order‑to‑Cash processes.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
