Day Concierge

About the role

A permanent Day Concierge is needed for a luxury residential site near London Bridge (SE1), about 10 minutes from the station. The lone-working concierge is the first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors, and must be professional in manner and appearance at all times. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 07:00-19:00, with pay of up to £36,056 per year (£14.45 per hour).

Key responsibilities

• Meet and greet residents, visitors and contractors courteously and professionally.
• Act as first point of call for telephone, intercom, email and face-to-face enquiries.
• Receive and log parcels and packages, and hand them over to residents or authorised third parties with ID or written authority.
• Log written instructions and ask verbal ones to be written and logged; register new residents and enter their details on the concierge database.
• Programme door entry fobs and key cards, and enter telephone numbers on intercom panels.
• Forward resident complaints and lease breaches to the Property Manager, and arrange contractor access to apartments.
• Perform end-of-shift parcel and key audits, resolve discrepancies, and run weekly fire alarm, lift alarm and other regulatory tests.
• Be familiar with fire activation and evacuation procedures, patrol the site, report hazards and fix minor health and safety risks proactively.
• Keep handover notes and instructions up to date, and follow company policies on dress, health and safety and alcohol.

• Smart and tidy appearance, compliance with health and safety rules, and no alcohol during shifts.
