Dual‑Trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst – Devon

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is for a dual‑trained Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst working field‑based across Devon. You will join a national hazardous‑materials consultancy that values technical standards, quality‑first processes and trusts its staff to deliver commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys in line with HSG264.
• Carry out asbestos‑in‑the‑ground surveys where required.
• Perform air monitoring, reassurance testing and fibre counting.
• Conduct four‑stage clearances and maintain technical standards on site.
• Work across commercial, industrial and public‑sector environments.
• Capture site data using tablet‑based systems and produce clear, defensible reports.
• Ensure full compliance with HSG248 and current legislation.
• Act as a professional point of contact for clients and contractors on site.

Required profile

• BOHS P402, P403 & P404 (or recognised equivalents).
• Strong working knowledge of asbestos legislation and guidance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload.
• Professional, calm approach with clients and contractors.
