EMEA Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and detail‑driven Junior Accountant to join our EMEA Finance team. This hands‑on position provides broad exposure across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Treasury, and Commercial Finance within a fast‑paced retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Run and review weekly vendor aged credit reports and support external accounting services.
• Manage vendor portal issues, contractor files, and invoice coding.
• Review EMEA cash accounts, credit cards, and cash over/under; support cashbook reviews.
• Assist with monthly reconciliation of concession invoices and petty cash reviews.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close, including journal entries, pre‑payments, accruals, and detailed cost line analysis.
• Ensure accounting records are audit‑ready and comply with IFRS/GAAP.
• Provide ad‑hoc finance and administrative support, including handling incoming post.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in retail finance or a similarly fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability.
• Excellent problem‑solving, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail.
• Collaborative, team‑first attitude and curiosity for continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
• Experience with SAP and/or HP systems.
• Working knowledge of IFRS or GAAP accounting standards.
