Experienced Roofer – Hastings

About the role

We are seeking an experienced roofer to join a well‑established social housing contractor in Hastings. This permanent, full‑time position offers a competitive salary of £38,000 per year, a company van and fuel card, and a supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out a variety of roofing repairs and maintenance works.
• Work on both occupied and void social housing properties.
• Complete minor associated tasks such as guttering, fascia/soffit repairs and basic carpentry.
• Ensure all work meets high standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
• Accurately update jobs and complete reports using a PDA system.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a roofer within the social housing or property maintenance sector.
• Experience working in occupied and void properties.
• Competent in a range of roofing repairs.
• Previous use of a PDA or handheld device to manage workloads.
• Full UK driving licence.
