Facilities Project Manager

About the role

Prestwick Aerosystems is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to lead the delivery of infrastructure projects across its Prestwick site. You will ensure that the facilities remain safe, efficient and future‑ready while supporting the company’s growth in aircraft wing manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Lead facilities and infrastructure projects from brief through to delivery, meeting time, budget and quality targets.
• Manage engineering proposals to ensure they are maintainable, cost‑effective, energy efficient and compliant with legislation.
• Oversee technical and financial appraisal of tender returns and prepare supporting documentation.
• Support the Facilities Manager and act as deputy within agreed authority levels.
• Coordinate with local community bodies, neighbouring businesses, public utilities and other external stakeholders for site activities.

Required profile

• Technical experience in facilities, construction or building engineering within a complex environment.
• Relevant qualification (HND, degree or equivalent) in building, civil or services engineering.
• Proven experience managing infrastructure projects, including technical evaluation and financial assessment.
• Competence using project and engineering‑related IT tools and systems.
