Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Fitzrovia, London. You will work closely with the Head of Finance Operations and Treasury, handling both accounts receivable and payable functions within a fast‑growing luxury lifestyle brand.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchases, expenses, inventory and overhead invoices in line with financial policies.
• Manage billing, send payment reminders to customers and reconcile supplier and customer statements.
• Perform day‑to‑day financial transactions, including verification, classification and posting of accounts receivable data.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and conduct other balance‑sheet reconciliations as required.
• Assist with general ledger duties, bank reconciliations and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Contribute to finance team projects such as process automation, improvement initiatives and sustainability reporting.

Required profile

• Strong team player with experience in accounting functions.
• Attention to detail and ability to investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Proactive attitude towards process improvement and project participation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of accounts receivable and payable processes.
• Ability to perform bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Familiarity with general ledger accounting.
