Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Financial Controller to join a multinational award‑winning business operating from Brighton (or London). Reporting to the Head of Finance, the role will lead the establishment of a group reporting and consolidation framework as the company integrates its European operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a robust group reporting and consolidation framework across multiple entities.
• Strengthen financial controls and own the balance sheet for all UK and international entities.
• Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reports.
• Manage consolidation processes, including inter‑company eliminations and reconciliations.
• Support the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts for UK and overseas subsidiaries.
• Oversee work‑in‑progress (WIP) valuation, billing discipline and cash conversion.
• Partner with Finance Managers and other functions to provide financial insight and challenge.
• Identify and drive improvements in financial processes, controls and reporting capabilities.

Required profile

• Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA member.
• Experience working within an LLP environment.
• Proven track record in financial reporting and balance‑sheet ownership in a complex, multi‑entity setting.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and familiarity with governance frameworks.
• Advanced analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail.
