Financial Controller

About the role

We are a fast‑growth services business operating in the sports and entertainment sector, looking for an experienced Finance professional to lead our finance function from our Central London office. You will shape finance processes, build a high‑performing team and work closely with the C‑suite on commercial and strategic initiatives as the company expands domestically and internationally over the next few years.

Key responsibilities

• Run the finance function and recruit, develop, and manage a finance team.
• Design, implement and continuously improve finance processes, procedures and internal controls.
• Partner with the wider business on technology‑focused initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director on commercial strategy, investments and market analysis.
• Provide financial insight and support for international growth plans.
• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a finance function in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong track record of building and managing finance teams.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership on commercial and strategic projects.
• Experience with international expansion or multi‑market financial analysis is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
