Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing UK technology business backed by venture capital. Working directly with the CFO, you will help build a best‑in‑class finance function and contribute to strategic projects such as international expansion, ERP implementation and investor reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Own the financial control environment across a complex international group.
• Lead group reporting and ensure statutory compliance.
• Oversee a small finance team.
• Drive transformation of systems and processes during rapid growth.
• Support strategic initiatives including ERP rollout, international expansion and exit planning.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Controller‑level experience in a multi‑entity business.
• Strong technical accounting expertise combined with commercial awareness.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience with ERP implementation, international operations or VC‑backed companies is a plus.
