Housekeeping Associate - Kensington

About the role

Equinox, a luxury health, wellness and hospitality group, is looking for a full-time Housekeeping Associate for its Kensington club in London. The role keeps the club, equipment, common areas and facilities clean and well maintained while delivering excellent customer service to members, prospective members and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Keep the club and exercise equipment clean and well maintained, serving members, prospects and guests with excellent customer service
• Keep the sidewalk entrance and lobby presentable
• Clean the locker room and stock all locker room consumables
• Clean and organise storage, laundry, exercise and coat rooms
• Maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor
• Provide maintenance for all equipment
• Receive and store all deliveries
• Assist with special events
• Notify the Housekeeping Manager when rooms or equipment need immediate attention

Required profile

• Able to work 40 hours a week
• Clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment
• Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred
• Previous experience working with cleaning products and hand tools
• Ability to service athletic equipment
• Strong customer service, organisational, communication and multi-tasking abilities
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom
