About the role

We are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the heart of Colchester. The role starts in January and offers the chance to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 while contributing to a supportive school community.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned maths lessons for KS3 and KS4.
Prepare students for GCSE examinations and support their progression.
Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
Collaborate with the maths department and wider faculty on teaching strategies.
Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
Dynamic, engaging approach to teaching.

Required skills
