About the role
We are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in the heart of Colchester. The role starts in January and offers the chance to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 while contributing to a supportive school community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned maths lessons for KS3 and KS4.
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and support their progression.
- Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management.
- Collaborate with the maths department and wider faculty on teaching strategies.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
- Dynamic, engaging approach to teaching.
