Midweight Videographer

About the role

Footasylum is hiring a Midweight Videographer to join its in-house studio team, which creates all of the company's marketing content. The studio is based at The Sharp Project in Manchester and reports directly to the Lead Videographer. The role sits within the Marketing Department and works closely with the Creative team on campaigns covering Footasylum's own brands and major brands such as Nike and Adidas.

Key responsibilities

• Capture video content for social media (Instagram and Facebook) and e-commerce (the Footasylum website and stores).
• Work on a wide range of briefs, including internal, seasonal and reactive campaigns, as well as branded campaigns for leading brands.
• Contribute to a fast-paced studio environment where new jobs are discussed, planned and shot every day.

Required profile

• Determined, visually educated and knowledgeable about the video profession.
• Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced studio environment.
• Willingness to learn and progress up through the video team.
• Proactive approach and good people skills and communication.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro).
• Basic knowledge of cameras (Arri Alexa, Red, BlackMagic, Sony).
• Good awareness of the social, digital and content landscape.

The role is not remote; applicants are expected to work in a hybrid way at the studio in Manchester. Applications are reviewed individually, and shortlisted candidates are invited to an informal call or Teams video.
