Operations Coordinator – Planning & Supply Chain

About the role

Reed is looking for an organised and proactive Operations Coordinator to join its growing team in Guildford. You will be responsible for coordinating the end‑to‑end operational planning process, ensuring products move smoothly from suppliers through production to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage weekly production and operational schedules.
• Coordinate supply requirements with suppliers and production partners.
• Align production plans with customer demand and sales forecasts.
• Monitor daily operational activity, respond to disruptions and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate stock and inventory records and support supplier payment processes.
• Review and improve existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Act as a primary communication point between internal teams and external partners.

Required profile

• Previous experience in operations planning, production planning, supply‑chain coordination or logistics.
• Strong numerical ability and data‑analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems.
