Order to Cash Process Lead

About the role

The Order to Cash (O2C) Process Lead will own the UK revenue cycle for a leading international professional services organisation. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will act as a change agent, modernising the O2C function through automation, AI and continuous improvement while leading a small high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise the end‑to‑end Order to Cash process, from billing through cash collection and allocation.
• Challenge existing ways of working and drive continuous improvement across the function.
• Identify and implement automation and AI opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting and reduce manual effort.
• Deliver measurable improvements in cash collection, debtor performance and working capital.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and management information to drive operational performance.
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, system enhancements and process standardisation.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance and compliance across the O2C function.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to improve billing accuracy, resolve disputes and influence behavioural change.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing Order to Cash team.

Required profile

• At least five years’ experience leading an Order to Cash or Accounts Receivable function in a large, multi‑entity organisation.
• Proven track record of driving process transformation, automation and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing a small finance team and influencing senior stakeholders.
