People, Payroll & Systems Manager

About the role

This role sits at the heart of a people‑focused organisation that supports leading global brands. Reporting to the Group People Director, you will lead a small team responsible for UK & Ireland payroll, HR systems, reward administration and people data, while shaping the future of the People function.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the delivery of complex UK & Ireland payroll processing.
• Manage and optimise HR information systems and ensure data integrity.
• Administer reward programmes and maintain accurate people data.
• Identify and implement process improvements across payroll and HR operations.
• Provide strategic insights using data to support People decisions.
• Collaborate with the wider People Leadership Team on key projects and strategy development.

Required profile

• Proven payroll leadership experience with a hands‑on approach.
• Strong understanding of HR systems, reward administration and people data management.
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic mindset combined with operational excellence.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and leading a small team.

Required skills

• Payroll processing expertise for the UK & Ireland.
• Experience with HR information systems (e.g., HRIS platforms).
• Data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of reward and benefits administration.
