Product Engineer (Operations & Manufacturing Software)

About the role

As a Product Engineer at CircuitHub you will own end‑to‑end production software systems, turning operational problems on the factory floor into reliable, usable software. You will work across planning, materials, purchasing, personnel and factory processes, partnering with operators, engineers and leadership to scale the Grid platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production planning tools and inventory/materials‑flow systems.
• Improve factory operator workflows and integrate new automation equipment.
• Apply AI and large‑language models to automate purchasing, production planning and machine diagnostics.
• Build software that coordinates thousands of manufacturing decisions across people, robots, inventory and suppliers in real time.

Required profile

• Strong PostgreSQL experience: complex queries, performance tuning and schema design.
• Solid data modeling and systems‑design judgment.
• Hands‑on systems integration: stitching together APIs, tools and workflows that hold up in production.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to ship production systems quickly and reliably.
• Willingness to travel regularly to CircuitHub factories in the US and UK and work on the factory floor.
