Quality Inspector – CNC & Precision Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a specialist precision‑engineering manufacturer that supplies aerospace components. The role is based in a factory near Bristol and operates on a double‑day shift pattern, offering an early finish on Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect aerospace components to tight tolerances using CMM equipment.
• Measure and verify products, tooling and fixtures against engineering drawings.
• Record inspection results and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify non‑conformities and support corrective actions.
• Continuously improve inspection processes to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Experience as a Quality or Manufacturing Inspector in the CNC/precision‑engineering sector.
• Familiarity with aerospace component inspection.
• Ability to work double‑day shifts and maintain high attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CNC‑controlled equipment.
• Competence in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
